Whites target two big wins

A WIN over Dungannon on Saturday would set Lisburn Distillery up for a massive six pointer at Institute next Tuesday night.

The Whites take on the Swifts at New Grosvenor hoping to take something from the game while at the same time they hope Linfield will do them a favour by clinching a win at Drumahoe.

"It could be a very interesting few days," says boss Tommy Wright. "If we can clinch a home win or even a point and Linfield get a result then we can go up there with the target of putting some pressure on them.

"We have never got closer than four points off Institute but all that can change with two big performances - we certainly don't want it to go the other way because I feel ten or more points could be very hard to make up.

"Dungannon are a very good side and they are tough to crack but we have players too when in possession they can hurt teams. We are more solid in defence and it was a good clean sheet against Glenavon on Tuesday night.

"Up front we now have more options with the arrival of Austin Friel and I felt he did very well on Tuesday night."
