Grants on offer to deaf and disabled artists

Disabled and deaf artists in Mid & East Antrim are being offered the chance to apply for grants of up to £5,000 to develop their work.

Northern Ireland’s young people are bypassing their politicians to organise elections to the first Youth Assembly.

Carrickfergus College recently played host to the 'Young Americans' performing arts group for the eighth time.'The school assembly hall was packed with the proud family and friends of the pupils involved. Seventy pupils in total, from Carrickfergus College, Downshire Secondary School, Carrickfergus Grammar and a number of local primary schools, took part in the three day workshop.
