Top awards for Shea and Oisin

TWO pupils From St. Michael’s Grammar School in Lurgan picked up prestigious College All Star Awards at the Hilton Hotel in Belfast last Friday night.

St. Michael’s defender Shea Heffron and midfielder Oisin Leneghan, who were part of the McLarnan Cup winning team this season, became the first players from the Lurgan school to win the award since Clann Eireann man Rory Lavery collected the accolade seventeen years ago.

St Michael’s coach David Wilson said, “We are delighted for Shea and Oisin who along with their team mates did the school proud this year.”

The two St. Michael’s lads joined players from other top Ulster Colleges at the Hilton Hotel for what was a memorable evening, Shea plays for Clann Eireann and Oisin lines out for St. Michael’s Aghagallon though his father Gerard played for Clann Eireann.
