Tandragee boys home sixth in Spain event
The players lined out having won the Ulster title then secured runners-up spot at Ireland level.

Hide AdAt club level, Alan Hewitt enjoyed a win across the Club Stableford’s 12-hole event thanks to 30 points.
His countback success arrived with 16 points over the final six holes to see off Davis Turkington.
Damien O’Hare posted 29 points for third, with Paul McKenna next in line thanks to a tally superior to William Gillespie across the two-hole countback.
In the season’s opening 18-hole event, three players shared the winning score of 44 points on Saturday.

Hide AdThe nine-hole countback system placed James Girvan first overall ahead of John Haffey and Adrian Maney.
Eugene Maguire was the pick of the 43-point field following 21 across the first-nine leg.
James Anderson was fifth on 20 points across the back nine to push down Roy Tilson, with the former clear over the three-hole countback.
David Armstrong enjoyed a 46-point round towards taking home the Sunday Stableford.

Hide AdHis single-point success left Nigel Duffy next in line over David Rooney, with Gerald Mullen fourth on the last-hole countback.
Rooney and Mullen scored 41 points apiece.
In the ladies’ section, Suzy Walsh put up 18 points over nine holes for Stableford joy by virtue of the countback against Lavern Saunders.
Vera Brady, the club’s lady president, scored 18 points in a recent nine-hole Stableford to finish in front of Margaret Kerr.
