The majority of the passengers on the bus were asleep when it plunged off the road.

They said that there was a lot of panic on the bus in the aftermath of the crash, but calm was soon restored when the emergency services arrived, the TIMES reported.

The family attended hospital for minor bruising, but were discharged shortly afterwards, and were able to travel home soon after.
