The team were eager to defend their title which they won for the first time last year. On the day they played very strong teams from Munster, Leinster and Connacht with the most difficult match being against Wesley College from Dublin.

This game ended in a 3-3 draw. The team played some excellent Badminton and their determination saw them record victories of 4-2 and 6-0.

These scores, along with the 3-3 draw, were enough to see the CAI team just edge ahead of the second placed Wesley College and lift the trophy for the second year running.

This is an outstanding achievement for the team and for the school and we would like to congratulate the boys on their success.
