It's going to be Tuff to keep Jonny says Partick boss

PARTICK Thistle boss Ian McCall has admitted that he doesn't expect international goalkeeper Jonny Tuffey to be at Firhill next season.

Tuffey’s form over the past two seasons hasn't gone unnoticed with Rangers - being linked to a summer move for the 23-year-old.

The Banbridge keeper’s contract expires in May and McCall said: "All I can say to our fans is enjoy Jonny while you can, because I don't think he'll be here next season."

Tuffey joined Partick in 2006 and initially played understudy to Thistle legend Kenny Arthur. Arthur's move down south paved the way for Tuffey to make his name under Ian McCall three years ago. His excellent form last year won him a call-up for full international duty with Northern Ireland. He made his debut in a friendly match in Italy where he saved a penalty during a 3-0 defeat.
