Rockmount Rollers cycle Lap the Lough
All the team made it around the Lough with the exception of Barry Douds who after 50 miles had to withdraw due to a knee injury. Up to that point Barry was looking strong.
Peter O’Hara said: “Once we got going, the weather was fine and the route was reasonably flat except for a few hills and with over 2,000 cyclists, the craic was great.”
Club Captain, Eddie Donaldson was a few miles from the finish when he blew a hole in a tyre wall and had to complete the journey on a flat tyre - a few extra calories burned there.
