James Morrison takes top spot

The second week of the Dunluce Golf.Com Winter League at Bushfoot Golf Club saw James Morrison take the top spot with his 40 points from his handicap of thirteen in Division One.

His 19 point total for the opening nine could have been better as he dropped two shots at the par four fourth. On the back nine that double bogey was replaced with a birdie three at eleven and it showed as James signed for another 21 points for the nine and 40 overall. Kenny McKillop took runners up spot with 36 points off seven. His blank at six did him no favours but some justice was done when Kenny hit a birdy three at nine to have 16 points bagged. His back nine is easy to sum up, seven pars two bogies and 21 points.

In Division Two it was Brian Hume at the top with 41 points from his mark of 25. His four pointer to start set the day up well and but for a couple of no scores at three and four his total for nine of 18 would have been exceeded.

A great back nine of four over par for 23 points gave him his 41 total. Gilbert Bowman was just one back on 40 points from a twenty five handicap. No birdies and no blanks for Gilbert just steady scoring for 17 out and 23 back
