Wee Whites back in action again

After a two week break it was back to action for the Lisburn League teams at the Lisburn Distillery Academy and it was also a return to the IFA SSG centres for the mini-soccer sides after their winter break.

The U-14s, U-15s and U-16s all progressed to the next round of the cup, Loughgall were seen off 2-1 by the U-14s, Ryan Hoey and John Ewing with the goals.

The U-15s needed extra time to see off Greenisland 2-1, the Wee Whites had goals from Tyler Guy and an OG plus a penalty save by Billy Campbell to thank for making the second round. Dromara were on the wrong end of a 6-4 score line against the U-16s.

The two teams in League action had contrasting fortunes, the U-17s had a 2-0 victory over Hillsborough, Ben White and Lee Newell scoring, but the U-13s title challenge stuttered as they went down 2-0 to Loughgall Youth. The U-8s were back at Playball and Reece Taggart, Ryan Cressey, Brandon Wright and Dawson Jackson all got goals against Ardoyne.
