Walsh free-kick earns Stute a draw
Institute battled back twice to secure a 2-2 friendly draw at Letterkenny Rovers, last night.
The Waterside men, who fell a goal behind after just 15 seconds with Oisin McMenamin firing home, gave a debut to new signing Mark Forker.
Stute levelled things thanks to Darren McFadden’s super strike in the second half before a defensive mistake by Colm McLaughlin allowed Rovers to regain the lead through Darren McElwaine, then a sublime free-kick from Aaron Walsh saw Paul Kee’s side come back for a second time.
The Drumahoe out-fit face Limavady United and also have a team take on Ardstraw on Saturday (KO 2pm).
