IFA launches first ever school quality mark
The new initiative is seeking to enhance and improve schools football at both primary and post primary level.
A key aim of the association’s Let Them Play strategy is to get more kids playing football in schools and it feels the development of schools’ infrastructure and collaboration with the Northern Ireland Schools’ Football Association is essential for future development of the game.

Hide AdThe school quality mark provides schools with guidance to implement structures to build capacity and allow football to flourish.
Precision training has agreed to be the official sponsor of the school quality mark and will provide up to £500 of equipment and training aids to schools who achieve the accreditation.
The school quality mark initiative will allow 125 schools to achieve accreditation over a five-year period.
