Hillsborough Boys to kick off annual youth festival

Hillsborough Boys are again hosting their annual football festival this weekend, hoping to follow on from the success of last year’s event.

More teams than ever before have entered into the junior and senior sections. Saturday will see the junior teams from U10s-U13s battle it out in seven-a-side matches with 12 other teams. Sunday’s fixtures feature 18 teams from U13s-U15s playing 11-a-side matches. On both days fixtures kick off at 10am and the finals are scheduled for 2.30pm.

Attracts

The festival attracts some of the very best clubs in the north while there is a first ever entry from Lisburn Ladies’ U11s.

The organisers would like to thank Lisburn Council for allowing them to host the event at the Lesiureplex facility and to the many volunteers .
