Football: Cookstown Celtic claim victory over Donaghmore
Celtic started well and were able to put together some nice passing moves without creating any clear cut chances. The hosts then came into the game and went close with a couple of long range efforts.
Celtic made the breakthrough midway through the half when a good move involving J McGahan and McCaffrey released Hagan in on goal and he made no mistake firing past the keeper.

Hide AdThis sparked the hosts into life and they pressurised the Celtic goal with a series of corners but with no joy.
The hosts started the better of the sides in the second half again testing O’Neill in the Celtic goal with long range efforts which he was equal to.
Celtic then had an effort of their own when the hard working McCloskey fired just over from the edge of the box. The hosts had another chance when a goalmouth scramble looked destined for the net but O’Neill and S McGahan prevented an equaliser.
Celtic went close to sealing the points with efforts from Hagan and J McGahan but they just missed the target.
