The Waterside men went down 3-2 after extra-time to Fermanagh and Western League side Lisnarick.

Skipper Nicky Cooke and striker Joe McCready got the goals for the home side but it was all in vain.

There was further misery for Don Olphert’s side when keeper Steven Scroggie suffered a broken ankle and will be out for the remainder of the campaign.

In the Matt Morrison Junior Cup, Newbuildings United Reserves came through after a penalty shoot out against Glebe.

Tullyally proved much to strong for Artigarvan winning 7-0, Greysteel were 3-2 winners against Portstewart while Claudy Rovers got the better of Donemana by the odd goal of five.

In the Second Division, Dungiven Reserves travelled to Lincoln Courts Reserves and won 2-1, while Foyle Wanderers Reserves came out 2-1 home winners against Dromore thanks to goals from McColgan and Barr.

There are two games down for decision this Saturday in the Premier Division, with three in the First Division and four in the Second Division.

Ardmore v Tullyally

These local derbies usually produce plenty of thrills.

Damien McGee’s Ardmore side are still involved in cup competitions but unless they collect some silverware he will consider it to have been a disappointing season.

Tullyally fresh from their seven goal mauling of Artigarvan will find this a lot tougher, however they feel that they are more than capable of picking up the three points, this looks like it could end all square.

Prediction: Score Draw.

Donemana v Lincoln Courts

The Tyrone men bowed out of the Junior Cup last weekend and now they must concentrate on maintaining their place in the Premier Division, that isn’t going to be easy.

The Courts look to have a massive task to overhaul BBOB in the race for the title, that said they have to keep winning and hope the Old Boys hit a bad spell, they should win this one comfortably.

Prediction: Lincoln Courts.
