City cruise past Welsh men
Derry City easily defeated Aberystwyth Town 5-0 to book their place in the Europa League second qualifying round, where they will face Belarus side Shaktyor Soligorsk.
This evening Peter Hutton’s side raced into a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Michael Duffy and Barry McNamee, before Rory Patterson netted a second half hat-trick to complete the rout.
