One to forget as Cloney lose semi-final warm-up
They lost by a crushing margin at the Cloughan to a young and enthusiastic Templepatrick team, well marshalled by a competent Australian professional, Warren Clunes.
Winning the toss, skipper Keith Martin decided to field first in damp overcast conditions. With hindsight, it might have been better to bat first.

Nevertheless, Templepatrick were 59-3 wickets after 20 overs, and the game was finely balanced.
However, Clunes, Smith and Bryans took control, and the final score was 244, which included an irritating last wicket stand of 38.
Best bowlers were Steven Hanna with 2-23 in 10 overs, and Tim McClure with 3-51.

After Gary Knox was dismissed in the second over, Mansing Nigade and Bruce Topping went along at a merry rate, until Topping was caught on the boundary for 16.
Steven Hanna made 15, and Nigade 28, but after that the innings collapsed to 90 all out.
