Club successes at Open

LURGAN Tennis Club had its fair share of success this year’s Ulster Open held at the Belfast Boat Club.

Defending under 18 champion David Acum from Lurgan was narrowly beaten in a very exciting and close two sets by Matthew McClurg of Ward Park.

However David did go on to retain the under 18 boys doubles title with his partner David McWhirter against the in form Christopher Madden McKee and David Weir.
