Carrick maintain their unbeaten record with win over Donaghadee
Carrick took the lead after 10 minutes when Luke Whittall raced over for an unconverted score.
Donaghadee reduced the deficit with a penalty but two minutes later the home side scored their second try when Whittall was on hand once again to get the touch-down. While unsuccessful with the conversion attempt he later kicked a penalty to give the home side a 13-3 lead.

Hide AdDonaghadee responded with a penalty but Aaron McKinney forced his way over in the corner for his side’s third try.
The bonus-point try came courtesy of Ryan Bailey with Whittall adding the extras. The visitors battled their way back into things with a converted pushover try reducing the deficit to 12 points.
It was a mixed performance by Carrick: very good for much of the first half and the early part of the second and sloppy in the middle part of the second half, but they redeemed themselves by playing smartly in the later stages - even if the penalty count was too high for comfort.
Next up: Lisburn (away).
