Ballymoney lose U-19 rugby final
POWER NI Ballymoney Under-19 rugby side lost in the Plate Final to Ballymena at the weekend.
The U19s were beaten by a 33-26 scoreline in the final in a very close game.
Jordan Munnis (Centre) for Ballymoney was injured in the warm up and Adam Hodge started who was carrying a torn hamstring. He went off injured with 25 mintues remaining so Ballymoney had to play with 14 men.
Nathanial Steele had a try disallowed which could off tied the game. Ballymoney try scorers were Luke McKinley, Simon McCrea and David Holmes. Nathanial Steele kicked 6 points.
