Vandalised boat 'only good for firewood'
A KEEN Larne boatman has spoken of his sadness after discovering the vessel he restored had been destroyed by vandals.
Sean O'Toole, a founder member of Cairndhu Rowing Club, bought and restored the 25-year-old boat, 'Misty Blue', two years ago.
The ex-Bangor hire vessel, which had been stored beside Carnfunnock boat house, was found damaged beyond repair by the original owner, Norman Black, on Tuesday, December 28. Another boat, 'Drains Maid', was also severely damaged.
