United Reserves hit Moyola for six!

Saturday’s fixtures were decimated by the wintry conditions but thankfully eight games were played and with only a few games being scheduled for Saturday 17 December the league will more or less close down until the January 7.

The Glebe were early on the attack in this game going on to take the lead after Gareth Henry scored on the 11th minute.

Glebe continued to push forward after this and doubled their lead after Gareth Henry scored his second goal in the game on the 42nd minute giving them a two goal cushion at half-time.

The second half saw the Olympic come well into the game but Glebe were content to defend their two goal advantage until the final whistle. Referee Mr. Gary Crawford

Ballymoney took the lead on the 7th minute through a well taken goal scored by Mark Dempsey and then added to this when Ian Christie scored on the 12th minute.

Ballymoney went further ahead after Mark Dempsey scored his second goal on the 26th minute but Moyola came back with Sean Devlin scoring on the 36th minute.

As half-time was approaching Keith Thompson scored for Ballymoney on the 42nd minute and then a goal scored by Dwayne Scott on the 68th minute saw Ballymoney four goals clear before Sean Devlin scored a second for Moyola on the 70th minute.

Time was then running out when Conor Reid completed the scoring on the day for Ballymoney on the 85th minute. Referee Mr. Mark O’Neil
