Three pubs get city gold award
Londonderry’s Civic Alcohol Forum’s has awarded its Gold Standard Award for Licensed Premises to three local pubs.
The Monaco Bar, the Bentley Bar and Mason’s Bar all received the awards for their commitment to high levels of customer care and their responsible attitude to the sale of alcohol at a reception in the Guildhall.
Joanne Smith, Project Manager of the Drink Think Project said: “We are delighted that, at a time when alcohol misuse is a public concern, these Derry premises are leading the way in taking additional measures to promote sensible drinking and look after the welfare of their customers.
