DUP welcomes Fincairn upgrade
DUP councillor Hilary McClintock has welcomed the upgrade of the Fincairn Road from its junction with the Drumahoe Road to the Copperthorpe housing development.
She said: “The DUP has been active on this issue for the last 18 months and several meetings have taken place in the constituency office There is however still an ongoing issue regarding sewerage in the area.”
She said she would set up further meetings regarding this issue, adding: “The footpath adjacent to the Reformed Presbyterian Church is currently being upgraded.
“This is opposite the site of the proposed Reimaging Project which is planned for the land previously occupied by the Scott Goligher Hall.”
