All at sea talkin Museum
‘All at Sea’ is the first of Derry City Council’s Heritage and Museum’s Lunchtime Lecture Series.
Bernadette Walsh, Archivist with the Heritage and Museum Service said: “Dr Anne McVeigh, author and experienced presenter on the topic of migration and tracing genealogy of migrants will deliver an interesting accord of the unique role that the NI Public Record Office has in acquiring and preserving the records of individuals, businesses and societies, which differs to other public record offices which are required to document only government records.

Hide Ad“Concentrating on the Sea records from the 1600’s this will be of relevance to anyone with an interest in the migration history of the masses who left the Island over hundreds of years, or those in the role of document preservation.”
