Tyrone man charged with threats to kill and possessing an axe

A total of five offences including making threats to kill a male, are to be contested, East Tyrone Magistrates Court has heard.

Fifty-three year old Martin Small from Toomog Road, Castlecaulfield is further accused of assaulting two males, possessing an axe as an offensive weapon and causing criminal damage to a septic tank.

The offences are alleged to have occurred on June 13.

A defence solicitor entered not guilty pleas to all matters on his client’s behalf. District Judge John Meehan ordered an adjournment until November 20 when a contest date is to be fixed.
