Traffic delays likely due to parade

POLICE are advising that a band parade in Claudy on Wednesday, August 10, will lead to traffic delays and diversions.

About 25 bands are expected to take part in the event, which is being organised by Burntollet Flute Band.

The parade will set off from Craig Road at about 7.45pm and make its way around the village to return to the assembly point.

The event is expected to last until about 10pm.

Claudy is on a popular route for motorists travelling between North Tyrone and Belfast. Anyone planning to make that journey on Wednesday is advised to seek an alternative route.
