Took foolish decision to drive
Michal Jaskowiak, South Street, Portadown, was fined £120 last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for driving with excess alcohol in breath on March 24 this year.
He was also banned from driving for 12 months and ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.

The court heard that at 12.50am a police patrol in Charles Street, Portadown, noticed a car repeatedly crossing the central white line.
It turned into West Street and continued to cross the white line. Police spoke to the defendant who was the driver.
After failing an initial breath test Jaskowiak took an evidential test which gave a reading of 61. He had no previous convictions.
Mr Conor Downey, representing the defendant, said his client had been out with friends earlier in the evening and took the foolish decision to drive the short distance home.
