The Queen sends her thanks to Probus men

At their Annual General Meeting in September the Londonderry Probus Club unanimously agreed to send greetings to Her Majesty the Queen on the occasion of her becoming the longest-reigning Monarch of the UK on September 9.

The letter was sent to Her Majesty by the Club Secretary, Albert Smallwoods, on behalf of the President, Dennis McKinney

The club has since received a reply from Christopher Sandamas, Chief Clerk to The Queen, thanking the members for their good wishes.
