Tesco customers raise £20,000 for Hospice
An army of more than 100 fundraising volunteers from the charity went out to 27 Tesco stores across Northern Ireland – including the local Ballymoney store - raising much needed funds to support local children, young people and their families.
Thanks to the generosity of Tesco colleagues, shoppers and local Hospice supporters they raised a fantastic £20,121.15 in total.

The £20k raised through the Tesco Collection will really make a huge difference to life-limited children and their families across Northern Ireland – equating to over 650 hours of nursing care.
“We are delighted to have been able to play our part in this fantastic collection for such a worthy local charity and have been overwhelmed by the generosity of Tesco colleagues and our customers.”
Joanna Pawson, Events Manager at Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice added: “The funds raised through these collections will allow us to continue providing this vital service for families across Northern Ireland, at home or in our two hospices. I would like to add my sincere thanks and appreciation to Tesco Northern Ireland and its customers.”
