Portrush Heritage Group success
Portrush Heritage Group held another successful night at the Portrush Atlantic Hotel on Wednesday, chaired by Hugh McGrattan, and featuring two speakers who kept the capacity audience enthralled.
Firstly, Daniela Morelli-Kerr on the 100 years of the family ice cream business, an iconic aspect of Portrush, whose products were savoured and welcomed by the audience in the interval!
The second speaker was Robert Corbett of Ballintoy History Society, discussing lesser -known facts about the Ballintoy area; the Game of Thrones has made it popular but its real history is fascinating....The ancient Templastragh Church( well worth visiting) , The Castle and the old schoolhouse.
