Police seek HGV with foreign plates in relation to fatal Aughnacloy crash

Police have issued an appeal for information on a red and white HGV with foreign plates in relation to a fatal road traffic collision in Aughnacloy on Saturday, August 20.

A man in his 40s died following the crash on the Tullyvar Road shortly before 8.30pm on that date.

It is understood he was driving a white Ford transit van at the time.

Police are investigating the fatal road traffic collision and have made an appeal for anyone who was travelling on the Tullyvar Road and who witnessed the collision to contact them.

They are also interested to hear from anyone who noticed a red and white HGV lorry with foreign number plates, seen travelling from Aughnacloy in the direction of the Ballygawley roundabout prior to the incident.
