Police officer injured after car chase in Dungannon

A police officer was injured during a car chase in Dungannon on Monday.

A PSNI spokesperson said “A black car made off at speed from Police in the vicinity of the Stangmore roundabout at around 5pm on Monday, March 23rd.

“Police pursued the vehicle. A short time later one officer sustained a minor injury to his leg after the vehicle failed to stop at a VCP.

“A 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old man were arrested for various motoring offences, both were released on bail pending further enquiries.
