Police investigating assault at bus shelter

Police in Ballymena are currently investigating a report that two men assaulted a 31-year-old male near a bus shelter in the Dunclug Park area of the town on Tuesday evening, July 8.

The man required hospital treatment for his injuries which are not believed to be life threatening, a police spokesperson said on Friday morning.

Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact Ballymena Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.
