‘Trip could lead to areas being twinned.. great! More trips for the boys’

SIR - Not a jolly we are told by a Council official who said it was beneficial and had a hectic schedule. Having read this hectic schedule in the local papers I still fail to see how it benefits Ballymoney?

The trip included attending centenary celebrations (obviously with plenty of food), laying a wreath and visiting the former home of KK McArthur. It also claims they participated in the memorial marathon and road races. Can we see pictures of our energetic councillors participating or did they as I assume just watch? Stupid question really!

But again I ask where in this hectic schedule is the benefit to Ballymoney? It has been suggested that the trip could lead to the areas being twinned. Great - more trips for the boys.

Let’s get one things straight, it was a jolly of which I have no doubt there will be plenty more as there isn’t much chance of the leopards changing their spots now.
