Tildarg man praised for ‘great civic duty’
TUV representatives have praised the “swift action” of a Ballyclare resident after he reported subsidence on the Tildarg Road.
The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, contacted South Antrim TUV representative Richard Cairns regarding the issue, and Transport NI later carried out repairs.
“I would like to thank the resident, as he has performed a great civic duty in looking out for the safety of those using the road,” Mr Cairns said.
Councillor David Arthurs from Ballyclare added: “This swift action by both the resident and Transport NI is most welcome and could have prevented a future accident.”
