New season of classes for Quadrangle

Over a number of sessions, the young people who join up will learn many different skills including training in: The Actor’s Body, The Actor’s Voice, The Theatre Stage, Theatre Practitioners, Analysing a Script, Improvisation and Character Work.

Quadrangle is a non-profit making organisation and want to make their classes more accessible to all, so they are offering membership to

Quadrangle Productions for all 8 - 21 year olds, for just £10 from September to December.

To register for classes parents must attend one of the following sign up sessions either on Wednesday 11th September from 8 - 8.30pm or Saturday 14th September from 10.30 - 11am. These sessions will take place in the McAlister Hall in Ballycastle.

During this registration period parents will hear a short presentation given by the chairperson and be able to ask any questions they may have about Quadrangle Productions.

After Christmas, when Quadrangle begins their five month term which will see young people preparing for a live performance, membership will be £50 but this is payable at a rate of £10 per month.

“We really need the community of Moyle to come behind us on this and help us as much as possible in the fundraising efforts we will be carrying out over the next few months. Your support and encouragement will ensure that all young people in Moyle, who wish to take part in drama activities, will have access to quality training.

“The first fundraising event will be a quiz which will take place on Friday 6th September at 8pm in McQuillans GAA Hall on Leyland Road. Admission is £3 per person and teams can be made up of 4 to 6 people. The quiz is open to all the family from age 8 upwards and we hope to see lots of people there!”

Quadrangle Productions is non-profit community theatre group which aims to ensure that all young people in Moyle have access to quality drama training.
