New Horizon opens at UUC this Saturday

New Horizon - the largest Christian event in Ireland begins this Saturday at the Ulster University, Coleraine campus.

The Evening Celebrations start at 7:30pm from Saturday until Friday, August 7. The morning programme runs from Monday, August 3 to Friday, August 7 with Bible Readings at 10am in the big blue tent and a wide range of seminars in the tented village and university lecture theatres from 11:45am.

The theme at New Horizon this year is “An Unconditional Love for God’s World”. The main speakers are Harold Miller (Bishop of Down and Dromore), Ben Kwashi (Archbishop of Jos Province, Nigeria) and Iain Provan (Professor of Biblical Studies at Regent College Vancouver).

There is no registration or charge for any of the adult programme.

Around 1000 children and young people have their own programmes from Monday - Friday. Registration is available on Saturday & Sunday evenings from 6:30pm behind the big tent. Young people can attend Livewire (Year 11+) in the morning & On the Edge (Year 8-11) without their parents being at the event as long as they have signed a parental consent form. Registration for each programme costs £25 for the week.
