Moutray’s Christmas message

“IT is hard to believe that 2012 is fast drawing to an end but before it closes and we step into a New Year I would like to wish everyone within the Borough a very Happy Christmas and a Peaceful and prosperous New Year,” said DUP MLA Alderman Stephen Moutray.

“2012 has been a difficult and challenging year for many as the world economy continues to cause hardship, but Christmas and New Year is a time for family and friends, for carols and festive fun but it is vitally important that amidst the hustle and the bustle we remember the real meaning of Christmas and remember that the babe Christ Jesus came to save the world.

“Also we think of families who have lost loved ones and our thoughts and prayers are very much with them at this time. We also remember our Armed Forces serving at home and abroad in some of the most difficult circumstances and we pray that God will keep them safe wherever they be. Finally we must always count our blessings and be thankful for what we have especially in relation to health.”
