MLA joins health workers’ picket line
EAST Antrim MLA Oliver McMullan joined health workers on a Day of Action picket line at Antrim Area Hospital.
Voicing his support for the campaign for better pay and conditions, the Sinn Fein representative said: “The British Tory Government is attempting to make cuts against the lowest-paid sectors and those on benefits while rewarding millionaires with tax reductions. The health service is already under pressure from huge cuts and this is another attack on the workers who have shown dedication and endeavour in attempting to maintain a service while under extreme pressure.”
