“This is a good day for all the pupils and staff of Ballymoney High School and this level of investment also provides a significant boost for the local construction industry.”

Principal Mrs Cynthia Currie: “On entry into the front foyer of the school you can immediately see the impact this work is having on our current facilities. Work is long overdue and is a great boost to everyone in the school. The fact that this significant investment has been granted by the Department of Education highlights the confidence in Ballymoney High School as a sustainable school providing high quality learning experiences for the young people. It is the people connected with the school that really make a school and we are lucky to have an excellent staff team, committed parents and a supportive wider school community all working to give our young people the best possible life chances. We believe that these much enhanced facilities will help all involved to aspire higher and achieve more.”
