Men liftedafter car ditches incity hedge

They were detained following an incident at Benview Estate, Coshquin, in the early hours of Tuesday, September 9.

Inspector Jonny Hunter said: “These arrests were made possible by a speedy report that was made by police.

“Police received a report at 2.45am that a car had crashed into a hedge.

“Two men were seen getting out of it. Officers attended within a few minutes and made the arrests. The men were later released on bail pending further enquiries.”
