Commenting ahead of the event, Cllr Arthurs said: “Undoubtedly the events of Wednesday, March 22 in London will forever be etched on our minds.
“Once again we witnessed terror hit the streets of our great nation in an attempt to undo democracy and the work that is done by Her Majesty’s Government at Westminster.”
The UUP representative added: “We saw a police officer, PC Keith Palmer, serving his country brutally murdered in broad daylight by a terrorist. Three innocent people named as Aysha Frade(40s), Kurt Cochran(54) and Leslie Rhodes(75) also lost their lives.
“We also think and remember many others who still remain in hospital as a result of injuries received on Wednesday. Everyone is welcome.”
