Local brothers celebrate success

Dawson Manufacturing and Engineering supply stainless steel equipment to the medical professions, food processing and catering industry right across Ireland.

Brothers Ian and Colin Dawson started the business in 2006 in a small workshop outside Dungannon with three employees.

Four years on the company has grown to employing 19 people and recently was awarded runner-up in Northern Ireland best business awards.

The company welcomed Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster on a tour of the new factory on the Charlestown Road.

Colin said: "Minister Foster was impressed with the facility, and intrigued with the vast sectors of the market which the company serviced.

"Everyone within the company is very important to its function with their vast wealth of skills and experience which we are very grateful and thankful for.

"A lot of our products are very bespoke, giving us the ability of being unique and keeping us very busy which in the current economic environment is welcome.

"We as a company are extremely thankful to all who have assisted in our growth and success."
