Lensman picks up two PPANI awards
A SOUTH Derry photographer picked up two prizes at the recent Professional Photographers Association of Northern Ireland (PPANI) presentations.
Maghera man Paul McElhennon received awards in both the open and the under five portrait categories.
The PPANI has some of the country’s leading photographers.
“I am both surprised and pleased to have been placed in such a strong field,” said Mr McElhennon.

Hide AdAfter his talent was spotted at the age of 18, he was offered a photography apprenticeship but turned it down to follow a separate career.
He remained a keen amateur photographer and almost 20 years later he returned full time to his first love and opened his own photography busines, Acorn Images, in 2007.
