Larne student takes a step up career ladder with Northern Bank

Julie Niblock, a business management student from Larne, is amongst 20 students from across Northern Ireland that has been selected to attend Northern Bank’s exciting Freedom Experience Scholarship Academy in January 2012.

Against a backdrop of student unemployment and significant commentary from businesses regarding the skills gap of students leaving third level education, the exciting three-day Freedom Experience Academy will help Northern Ireland’s future leaders to make their first steps up their chosen career ladders.

Guided by key successful Northern Ireland business leaders from a range of backgrounds, the Freedom Experience Academy will provide the 20 winning scholars with straightforward skills to adequately prepare them for the world of work. From social skills and suggestions on how to enhance their CV to valuable insights into successful interview techniques and an evaluation of their own strengths and weaknesses – the Freedom Experience Academy offers a unique opportunity for students to hone their job search skills in advance of graduation.
