Hijackers threaten teens

Two teenagers were threatened at knifepoint during a Crumlin hijacking on Tuesday night.

An 18-year-old male driver and an 18-year-old woman were forced from a red Volkswagen Golf by two men on Mill Road, Crumlin, at about 10.35pm.

It is believed the hijackers travelled to the area in a green Ford Focus driven by a third man; it was later reported that it collided with a white Seat at Flush Bend in north Belfast at about 10.55pm.

The driver of the Ford fled the scene on foot. The Seat driver was taken to hospital with injuries not thought serious. Detectives want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the hijacking or collision or who has any information, as well as anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area .
