Have your say on Maghera's future

Sinn Féin councillor Brian McGuigan has urged everyone in Maghera and the surrounding area to attend a public consultation in Walsh's Hotel from 2pm-8pm this Wednesday.

Members of the public will have an opportunity to view options for inclusion in a Maghera Development Framework and Action Plan as well as have their views taken into consideration.

Mr McGuigan said: “The purpose of the public consultation which is being hosted by council in the style of a ‘drop in’ event is to confirm progress on the Maghera Development Framework and Action Plan and to present the results of the Preliminary Town Audit while seeking direction by way of engagement with members of the local community before confirming what happens next in the development plan process.
