Harbour Bears given warm welcome

Olderfleet Primary School hosted a visit by Harbour Bears Pre-School Group recently.

Robert McCombe, principal of Olderfleet Primary School, explained: “We are always delighted to welcome our friends from Harbour Bears to Olderfleet Primary School.

“The boys and girls had great fun in the year one classroom with Mrs Kirby and Mrs Hull.

“The Harbour Bears listened to a story and then really enjoyed their craft activities.

“Both Harbour Bears and Olderfleet value these visits as they form an important aspect of transition within the foundation stage from pre-school to primary school.

“The next time Harbour Bears visit, they will have the opportunity to work on our interactive whiteboards. It is wonderful to see how confident and happy the boys and girls from Harbour Bears are in Olderfleet.”
