Guardforce to cease trading

The firm employs around a dozen staff as well as part-time contractors at sites across Northern Ireland.

Guardforce were Northern Ireland’s longest serving independent security company and led the way with cutting edge security services.

They specialised in providing Manned Guards who were all licensed S.I.A. officers. It also carried out CCTV surveillance on business premises.

A source said it had decided to undertake a voluntary winding-up, with most of its staff transferred to new operators.
